Prayer. Try it not me.

There's a Tiktok video going around that says "Because I'm classy, I pray and I mind my own business you think I wont smack the $#!* out of you? Like I wont put the kumbaya to the side and smack the $#!* out of you? Is that what we thought?" And this is exactly who this shirt is for! Yes we are spiritual, Yes we pray and yes occasionally we burn sage but all of that can be put aside if you want. Tuh!

While this shirt is a reminder for to people who read it. it is also a reminder for those who wear it. At one point in my life I found myself questioning God (or whomever you pray to). Why is this happening to me? Why didn't I get that job? Why didn't I get the guy? Why does this hurt? Why not me? why why why? I'm doing everything right. I'm a good person. I help people. Why God why? 

I had to catch myself because while all of this is true I wasn't doing one thing, Praying. Matthew 7:7-8 "Ask and it shall be given to you, seek and ye shall find"  Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him and he will make your paths straight." Not only did I need to pray about it but I needed to trust the process and stop questioning divine timing. The "ME" in this scenario is God. Its a reminder to me to stop questioning the most high and do all that is asked of me.
